IALA’s 2023 Israelyan Armenian Translation Grant

We would like to thank everyone for submitting to the inaugural 2023 Israelyan Armenian Translation Grant. We were grateful for the submissions we received during this particularly difficult time, and thank everyone for their work in translating for an Armenian audience. 

From the submissions received, the judges were unable to award a translation that met IALA’s requirements. Therefore, we have decided to reserve the grant for next year. While we understand this may be a disappointment, particularly for those who applied, we respect our judges’ decision.

We thank everyone for their submission, and our judges Anna Davtyan, Armen Ohanyan and Zaven Boyajyan for their invaluable time. We will announce the 2024 grants early next year!
