IALA Is Hiring!

IALA is hiring for two positions: a Grant Writer and an Administrative Coordinator. Interested applicants should send a cover letter and resume to IALA Board President Olivia Katrandjian at olivia@armenianliterary.org.

Administrative Coordinator

The International Armenian Literary Alliance (IALA) is seeking an administrative coordinator to write and publish website content, organize virtual events, draft press releases, and work directly with the president on program management. 

Applicants should have a familiarity with and passion for Armenian literature and IALA’s mission, an attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a command of the English language and grammar. Applicants should be highly organized and dependable. 

Details: The successful candidate will work part time, remotely, for a maximum of 15 hours per month. Candidates should have a familiarity with WordPress and Mailchimp, as well as the ability to design artwork for event flyers. Please indicate your experience in these areas in your application. Pay will be fair and dependent on the candidate’s experience.

Grant Writer

The International Armenian Literary Alliance (IALA) is looking for an experienced grant writer to research and identify grants appropriate for our organization, including grants to fund translations and creative writing; and to write applications for these grants for review by the board. Applicants should have a familiarity with and passion for Armenian literature and IALA’s mission, an attention to detail, a strong work ethic, a command of the English language and grammar, and experience writing grant applications. 

Details: The successful candidate will work part time, remotely, on a project basis, for a maximum of ten hours per month. Pay will be fair and dependent on the candidate’s experience.
