IALA’s 3rd Anniversary Fundraiser

Third Anniversary Logo

On March 21, the International Armenian Literary Alliance turns three! IALA has grown in remarkable ways over the last three years, and we hope you will support us as we continue to expand our programming and empower Armenian writers.

To mark our third anniversary, help us raise $3,000 and join us for a special birthday celebration.

On March 24th, seven writers and teachers will guide you through their favorite writing prompts. Join us to come up with new ideas, or find fresh inspiration on an old project!

Since our launch in 2021:

  • We have provided professional and creative guidance to 35 emerging writers through our annual Mentorship Program;
  • Given 13 high school poets a chance to publish their work on an international stage through our Young Armenian Poets Awards;
  • Awarded 5 annual $2,500 grants for new works of creative writing and translations;
  • Hosted numerous readings and discussions with Armenian authors and publishers, such as Literary Lights, in collaboration with NAASR and the Zohrab Center;
  • Granted 24 free memberships to those in need;
  • And helped over 50 authors market their publications who have gone on to win awards, and advocate for Armenian literature and culture in a variety of media and across continents.

In celebration of our third anniversary, we are hoping to raise $3,000. You can select any of the tiers below to support a specific activity of ours:

  • $500 to run a literary event promoting our writers
  • $100 to support the participation of the next emerging Armenian writer in our programming
  • $50 to enable an aspiring writer to have a free or discounted place in a workshop
  • $25 to promote a member’s publication

Any donation, big or small, will help us develop new programming and support Armenian writers across the world!

If you aren’t a IALA member and wish to become one, we offer a wide range of member-only benefits which you can learn about here.
