Tatevik Ayvazyan

Tatevik Ayvazyan is a writer—producer and the former director of London’s Armenian Institute. She was the poetry producer of Rebel Republic’s multi-award winning arthouse film, Taniel, about the Armenian poet Taniel Varoujan, narrated by Sean Bean. Currently she is adapting Iris Murdoch’s The Italian Girl for a feature film and is the writer and producer of Married to the Music, a documentary about female DJs.

As the director of the Armenian Institute, she has been involved in countless literary, artistic and creative projects, curating several film festivals, leading poetry reading sessions and book clubs.

Tatevik is a board member of Azad Archives, and an advisory board member of the Armenian Diaspora Project. She has been on the selection panels of Calvert Journal’s and Fresco Film Festivals, also AGBU Arts’ Sayat Nova competition, judging the poetry elements of the entries.
